25 Mar Candace Jones: Organizing Chaos Amid Rapid Growth
In honor of Women’s History Month, we are highlighting the women of Aktify. Their contributions are creating the world’s most advanced conversational AI.
In less than a year, Aktify has grown its team by more than 600%.
To combat the frenzy that comes with massive growth, the company relies on Executive Project Manager Candace Jones.
“Watching a team grow from ten to thousands of people within a company is something that has always intrigued me, and I love being a part of the organized ‘chaos’ of it all,” says Jones.
She is a skilled project operations manager in the tech services industry. Her experience stretches across sales, events, marketing strategy, budget management, and procurement. Before Aktify, she lent her talents to Aptive, Google Fiber, and Entrata.
“Over the years, I have gained invaluable insight from being involved with the operations, marketing, strategic growth, and acceleration in different booming organizations, and I saw Aktify as the next rocket ship, ready to launch.”
At Aktify, Jones manages projects related to finance, legal, and marketing. Additionally, she’s involved in the strategy and direction of the company.
“My goal is to contribute to this growth and keep things running smoothly and effectively, like a well-oiled machine.”
Jones also heads up Aktify Serves, the company’s humanitarian initiative. She has rallied the team to benefit homeless shelters, domestic violence victims, and refugee families.
Aktify’s promise to drive change in the world with AI, one conversation at a time, excites Jones. But what inspires her even more, are the people behind the product.
“That’s the special sauce,” she says. “We work to play and play to work even harder to create something magical. Aktify’s core values instantly resonated with my true north and my WHY behind what I do. “
Humble, hungry, smart are just some of the values Aktify encompasses in our culture, and the employees here exemplify that extraordinarily. I couldn’t be more excited to be a part of this team!”
