Our Compliance Commitment

Aktify operates in regulated industries where data security and consumer privacy are non-negotiable. We've designed our platform from the ground up to meet the compliance requirements of healthcare, insurance, financial services, and other regulated verticals. Every feature we build, every integration we support, and every conversation our AI handles is governed by these standards.

HIPAA Compliant

Aktify maintains HIPAA compliance for customers in healthcare and health insurance. Our platform includes administrative, physical, and technical safeguards required under the HIPAA Security Rule. We execute Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with applicable customers and ensure that protected health information (PHI) is handled, stored, and transmitted according to HIPAA standards.

Opt-In Requirements

Aktify only contacts consumers who have provided proper prior express written consent. We work with our customers to verify that their lead acquisition processes meet consent requirements before any outreach begins. All contacts must have opted in to receive SMS communications.

Example opt-in disclosure language:

“By submitting this form, you consent to receive text messages from [Company Name] and its partners at the number provided. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for assistance. View our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.”

Data Security

All data transmitted to and from Aktify is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Access controls follow the principle of least privilege. Our infrastructure undergoes regular security assessments and vulnerability testing. Customer data is logically isolated and never shared across accounts.

SMS Compliance (TCPA)

Aktify's SMS outreach fully complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). We enforce opt-out handling (STOP keywords are processed immediately), maintain do-not-contact lists, honor quiet hours, and ensure all messaging aligns with carrier policies and 10DLC registration requirements.
